Edible Oils and Fats
Edible oils and fats consist of various oils used within cooking and food processing which require transfer as part of the process. They may also be removed at the end of their useful life by oil and fat collection companies to be recycled or disposed of as they are unable to be flushed down drains.
Edible oils can vary wildly in viscosity, and contain waste solids which require handling by a pump. Some applications require pumps to handle oils up to a few hundred degrees to ensure there is no interruption to service.
We can assist with the transfer of edible oils and fats with the following features:
Mobile units – Mobile pumping units either trolley mounted or within a carry frame to enable movement between processes.
Low shear – Low shear to ensure any oils transferred are not emulsified if the oil is waste and has absorbed water.
High Temperature – High temperature handling to ensure zero disruption to your process
Solids Handling – Ability to handle hard solids from potatoes or other particles without stopping
Wide viscosity handling – Ability to handle wide range of oils such as sunflower, virgin, palm oil to thicker oils and monounsaturated and saturated fat.
