Varisco Spare Parts

Varisco was founded in 1932 and is an Italian manufacturer of self-priming centrifugal pumps, end suction centrifugal pumps and positive displacement gear pumps. They specialize in the handling of fresh water, sea water, fuels and solids laden fluids.

Their pump range is flexible and can be tailored to application requirements. They can manufacture their pumps in various materials, including; ductile iron, bronze and stainless steel. Their pumps can be mounted on mobile trailers, mounted within soundproof enclosures or mounted on portable frames, coupled to either electric motors, petrol engines or diesel engines.

They have grown to be a worldwide supplier of fluid handling equipment into various markets, including; marine, oil and gas, wastewater and sewage, agriculture, quarrying, mining, energy plants and many more.

North Ridge Pumps have a great deal of experience supplying spare parts for Varisco pumps and supplying exact replacement pumps or dimensionally interchangeable pumps from alternative manufacturers.

Below are some of the common models we supply spare parts for. Contact us with any Varisco related enquiries.

FAQS

We supply all parts associated with Varisco end suction centrifugal pumps, gear pumps and self-priming centrifugal pumps, these include; impellers, shafts, mechanical seals, casings, o-rings and gaskets. Any parts labelled on the drawing and parts list are available for purchase, either individually or as part of a kit.
The pump needs to be disassembled and inspected as part of a maintenance program to correctly identify any damaged parts. The drawing and parts list then need to be viewed to find the correct part description and position number.
The basic information required to obtain a quotation includes; the pump model number, serial number if available, description or name of the part and the position number of the part if available. This information allows us to correctly identify the parts required and to identify the correct materials.
Premature pump failure can be an indication of system problems or incorrect pump selection. Common causes of premature pump failure include; incompatibility of the pump materials with the fluid, incorrect pipework size, incorrect type of pump and incorrect size of pump. We can help identify the cause of your pump failure if you provide the following information; description of the application, fluid being pumped, viscosity, temperature, flow rate required, pressure required, inlet conditions and bore of pipework.
This depends on several factors; how frequently are spare parts required? how long has the pump been in operation? and the price of the required spare parts versus the cost of a complete new pump. For example, if a new casing, impeller, shaft and mechanical seal are required, then it is more cost effective to purchase a complete new pump as a large proportion of the high value parts are required. If the pump is wearing frequently and prematurely, then this may be an indication that the wrong type or size of pump is installed. It is a good idea to talk to us in this situation as we may be able to identify the issue with your pump or system and select a more suitable pump for your requirements.
Yes, we can help. We can select an alternative type, size or brand of pump if you provide the following information; description of the application, fluid being pumped, viscosity, temperature, flow rate required, pressure required, inlet conditions and bore of pipework. Using a different type or size of pump that is more suited to your application could help reduce your running and maintenance costs.
