What is Wax?

What is Wax?

Wax is a viscous liquid derived from petroleum specifically light lubricating oil but can also be produced naturally from Bees. Wax is used mostly for candles, crayons, paper, polishes, lipstick, wood as a waterproof coating, in paint as wear resistance, as car polish, household polish and to coat cheese.Clogged Wax Pump

Typical wax applications include transfer, dosing which requires non pulsating low shear flow. As wax hardens when cooled and in contact with air ensuring wax does not clog in valves or within the pump is extremely important.

We can provide pumping solutions which can transfer wax without clogging, with pumping technologies which do not contain valves and where it is possible to completely empty the pump after use either through pumping or in reverse to empty product from hoses and dry run without issue.
