Flexible Impeller Chemical CompatibilityThe below table details the chemical compatibility of various rubber impellers with the respective fluid. When checking chemical compatibility two features are of critical importance, which are the temperature of the chemical and the concentration. 

Chemical Compatabilty is one of a handful of checks which need to be checked before a selection is made. 

The pumping speed, viscosityNPSH Available and liquid properties must also be checked, and we encourage all customers to discuss their application with our Technical Sales Engineers.

The temperatures detailed must be treated as the highest temperature that can be used with the impeller. The temperature of 20ׄ°C is typical of an average room temperature.

The term "Variable" means that within the same family of polymers there can be different behaviors according to the kind of polymer, the concentration of the chemical and the temperature at which it is used.
