Problem | Possible Cause | Remedy |
Motor Does not Run | No Power Supply to Control Panel | Check mains input on panel. Check cable connection. |
Fuse Failure | Check and Replace fuse | |
Cable Broken | Change the control cables | |
Zero Discharge | Impeller Seized | Clean inside pump and remove blockage |
Discharge Pipe blocked | Clear blockage | |
Pump Discharge head insufficient | Check System Design Values | |
Insufficient Water in Sump | Check water input to sump | |
Low Pump Capacity | Pump running in Reverse | Swap two phases on panel |
Discharge Pipe Blocked | Clear discharge pipe | |
Partial clog in impeller or casing | Clean inside pump | |
Impeller worn | Replace Impeller | |
Thermal Trip | The stop level is set too low. Motor runs dry | Increase the level of the stop switch |
Head too low | Adjust / install flow control valve to ensure pump sees back pressure in accordance with pump value | |
Liquid density or viscosity high | Check pump is suited for application. Open valves | |
Leakage Detector Activated | Cable compromised either through wear, damage or contact with oils | Replace cable. Rewind motor if water ingress occurred |
