Enquiry to Upgrade a Diesel Supply Hose System on a Farm

With large equipment operating on a farm, diesel storage is a must and farmers must have a means of refuelling their equipment quickly and safely. The main components required are a tank, transfer pump and hose, usually mounted in a hose reel. 

We were contacted by a farmer that needed to upgrade his hose system; he required a robust wall mounted reel with 10 metres of high quality long lasting 1-inch hose.

Our hose reels are available with either an ABS plastic or painted steel casing, both are robust and resistant to corrosion, we can supply them with open or closed protective casing options. This customer needed a fixed wall mounted version; however, we can install swivel brackets or floor mount the reels if required. 

We supplied a painted steel casing with 10 metres of 1-inch hose rated to a maximum pressure of 10 bar, all seals are made from Viton for compatibility with diesel fuel. This unit is retractable with rewinding spring and constant tension for safe handling. 

There is a wide variation of hose reels with different lengths of flexible hose and materials for compatibility with various fluids such as water and AdBlue. We can custom build equipment to customer’s requirements to ensure a safe and efficient transfer of fluid.
