The Oil and Gas industry is one of the most demanding industries we accommodate due to the range of hazardous activities occurring within a harsh environment which requires some of the highest specifications available from pumps.
Typical specifications requested in the oil and gas industry are specified by the American Petroleum Institute detailing the pump loading, seal characteristics, anticipated life span and service intervals. Different types of pumps are distinguished through coding according to pumping technology and design. For example, API610 refers to Centrifugal Pumps, API676 For screw pumps and API674 for reciprocating pumps. API Pump types are typically used for the most arduous of pumping applications but are not always required as at times different pump specifications can be utilised.
Due to our vast experience in technical pump applications, we can distinguish which pump types be used for each process and application. We can offer pumps to specific standards, with third-party witness testing by marine classification societies and also enable customers to be present during assembly and testing.

ATEX Rated
Continuous Running – Motors rated for continuous running at low rpm
API accredited – Accredited to API676, API674, API610 complete with API seal plans
Run Dry – Where required pumps can be specified to operate without fluid on startup increasing the pumps versatility
Materials – Materials to accommodate various fluids such as seawater, produced water and chemicals with full traceability and certification
Semi-Submersible – Semi-submersible high flow pumps for ballasting operations
Cooling – Cooling of process equipment
Decommissioning – pumps for the emptying of tanks, handling of sludges
Firefighting – Pumps for creation of mists through sprinklers for the purpose of firefighting.
Grease Transfer – Grease transfer pumps for greasing of bearings, gearboxes and rotating mechanical equipment
Lubrication – lubrication of winches, gearboxes and other equipment using oils
MEG / TEG Injection – Injection of Methanol and Ethylene Glycol, and Triethylene glycol to prevent hydrates forming
Mud – Mud pumping for the cleaning of the drill, cooling of drill and removal of tailings
Multiphase – Handling of oil, water, sand and gas mixture from wells with low shear pumps preventing emulsification. Installation can be made within remote areas with the ability to control equipment remotely and schedule maintenance according to operating conditions.
Pipe Cleaning – pumping of oils at high pressure to clean pipework.
Platform water supply – Supply of water from sea level to platform
Sludge -Removal of tank slops, sludges or filter cake.
