For some industries pump selection isn’t just a question of getting a fluid from point A to point B, it requires a more specialised approach to avoid damaging the product or altering its physical properties. This is the case with industries that use or, manufacture or supply viscous and shear-sensitive fluids.

Thermal oils are used as a heat transfer medium as a way of indirectly transferring heat within a closed system, without the creation of hot spots occurring which can create damaged product through thermal cracking, thermal decomposition or solidification.

Surface treatment processes are essential across a range of industrial sectors for preparing, cleaning, modifying, and finishing metal surfaces. The process involves applying different chemical compounds and sequences to alter the metal’s surface at a molecular level. These aggressive and often hazardous chemical and caustic solutions gives the surface required properties such as corrosion resistance, adhesion or electrical conductivity.

We will work with you to maximise pump lifespan which may include reducing the velocity of pumped media, wear resistant parts, oversized casing or open impellers for solid passage. Accessories can also be installed to reduce solid size or macerate. Clogging points such as small inlets, or valves within the pump can be eliminated to reduce blockages or dual seal / lubricated seal designs to reduce seal wear prolonging life.
