Azcue CP Pump & Spare Parts

Azcue pumps, also referred to as Bombas Azcue, are a Spanish manufacturer of marine type approved pumps. Their CP range of horizontal centrifugal pumps are of a close coupled compact design, with the largest models capable of producing flow rates up to 75m³/hr and pressures up to 5 bar.

With their onsite foundry, Azcue have the flexibility produce their CP series of centrifugal pumps in various materials to suit a wide range of marine vessel applications, including cast iron, ductile iron, bronze, aluminium bronze, stainless steel 304/316 and duplex stainless steel. By adhering to type approved standards from classification bodies such as Lloyds, DNV, Bureau Veritas and ABS, these pumps are interchangeable with current installed pumps or can be specified for new applications involving sea water, fresh water and low viscosity fuel oils such as the below:

·         Sea water general service

·         Deck washing

·         Sea water/Fresh water cooling

·         Aquaculture

·         Low solids content grey water transfer

·         Fuel transfer, including marine diesel.

·         Sea water injection

Special Atex versions for flammable fluids/environments can be manufactured on request.

FAQS

We supply all parts associated with the Azcue CP series of centrifugal pumps, these include; impellers, shafts, mechanical seals, casings, o-rings and gaskets. Any parts labelled on the drawing and parts list are available for purchase.
The pump needs to be disassembled and inspected as part of a maintenance program to correctly identify any damaged parts. The drawing and parts list then need to be viewed to find the correct part description and position number.
The basic information required to obtain a quotation includes; the pump model number, serial number if available, description or name of the part and the position number of the part if available. This information allows us to correctly identify the parts required and to identify the correct materials. The serial number is a 6 digit number, beginning with either 1, 2, 3 or 4 depending on the age of the pump.
Premature pump failure can be an indication of system problems or incorrect pump selection. Common causes of premature pump failure include; incompatibility of the pump materials with the fluid, incorrect pipework size, incorrect type of pump and incorrect size of pump. We can help identify the cause of your pump failure if you provide the following information; description of the application, fluid being pumped, viscosity, temperature, flow rate required, pressure required, inlet conditions and bore of pipework.
This depends on several factors; how frequently are spare parts required? how long has the pump been in operation? and the price of the required spare parts versus the cost of a complete new pump. For example, if a new casing, impeller, shaft and mechanical seal are required, then it is more cost effective to purchase a complete new pump as a large proportion of the high value parts are required. If the pump is wearing frequently and prematurely, then this may be an indication that the wrong type or size of pump is installed. It is a good idea to talk to us in this situation as we may be able to identify the issue with your pump or system and select a more suitable pump for your requirements.
No, the position numbers of the spare parts from the drawings are generic codes consistent across all pump ranges. For example, 4200 is the code for mechanical seal and 4610 is the code for o-rings. This is to make it simple for customers when requesting quotations for spare parts, the full part code is obtained once the goods have been shipped.
