The NRKC pumps are part of the North Ridge S Series – a range of self-priming side channel pumps. Assembled utilising 2 different impeller designs, both work in conjunction helping the pump to behave in a unique way and similar to a standard centrifugal and multistage pump.
A star shaped side channel impeller enables the handling of entrained gas with solid particles in suspension up to 0.5mm in size and the centrifugal impeller housed at the suction port acts as an inducer helping the pump to prime up to 7.4M. Both ensure the pump has a low NPSH and that liquids with up to 50% entrained gas are handled efficiently without causing vapour locking.
The NPSH inducer stage also allow the pump to operate with lower than 0.5m of NPSH enabling the unit to completely empty tanks, and the handling of fluids being transferred close to their boiling temperature.
Designed to handle hazardous fluids containing entrained gas, it is an ideal solution for low viscosity oil’s, chemicals, and refrigerants which are handled under pressure or at low temperatures such as propane and butane in circulation or transfer applications. The design allows for the efficient operation, as well as being easy to maintain guaranteeing long-lasting reliability.
The NRKC is completely customisable with materials of construction altered according to application, with stages added or subtracted according to desired pressure or flow.
· High Self Priming Capability
· Extremely low NPSH <0.5M or Less
· Handle liquids with up to 50% entrained gas
· ATEX Certified
· Eliminates the requirement for expensive infrastructure when handling liquid gases.
· Modular design reduces spare part holding and enables pumps to be scaled according to process needs
· Side channel design
· Designed to handle liquids, gases, and liquid-gas mixtures with up to 50% vapor
· Low NPSH Requirement typically 0.5M
· Self-priming up to 7.4M
· High pressure at low capacity
