Nova Rotors Pumps Overview
Nova Rotors are an Italian manufacturer of progressing cavity pumps established in 1990.
Handling flows up to 420m3h and pressures up to 48 bar they are predominantly used in the oil and gas, industrial and hygienic industries where reliability and short lead times are required.
Nova rotors pumps have the benefit of being modular in design meaning pump types can share the same designs of seals, stators and rotors to reduce stocking costs.
The pitch of rotors in the diamond series are designed as a long pitch to reduce energy costs by up to 20% when compared to traditional pump types, also reducing starting torque.
Designs are available to accomodate a wide range of fluids from viscous clean fluids, to fluids which require breaking into manageable pieces utilising a bridge breaker, dry fluids containing low water content which require an auger feed, or separate liquid manure inlet, and vertical units for mounting within tanks.
Their pumps have numerous accreditations including API ensuring suitability for Oil and Gas applications, ATEX for flammable atmospheres, and 3A approval confirming suitability for hygienic applications. As a company they are accredited to ISO9001:2015 and OHSAS18001:2007.
All pumps are tested at their facility offering reports confirming adherence to required pressure, capacity, NPSH, absorbed power and Torque, with separate independent witness testing available if required. Reference lists can be made available for the most demanding of applications.
